Explore the ministry opportunities for your children at Harvest Community Church

Kids Ministry at Harvest Community Church

At Harvest, our kids (infant through 5th grade) experience safe, age-appropriate environments where they learn about Jesus in a creative and relevant way.

Each year kids spend about 3,000 hours with their parents versus the 40 or so that they’ll spend at church on Sunday. That’s why we believe it is our role to partner with you and give you the tools to lead your children spiritually at home. We give you weekly take-homes to keep you informed with what your children are learning, and tools for you and your child to learn more together throughout the week.

Infant - Preschool

“Kazuri” is Swahili for “small and beautiful”. We believe that God has given us the privilege of loving and leading the small and beautiful! Our mission in Kazuri Land is to make a first impression of our Heavenly Father in such a way that we make a lasting impression on the heart of each child.

Kindergarden - 5th Grade

The focus in UpStreet is our small group environment. We want kids to see how God’s Word fits into their lives, to learn how to talk to Him, and to build friendships that will last.

Before kids head off to middle school, we want to make sure these 3 things stick:

1. I need to make the wise choice

2. I can trust God no matter what

3. I should treat others the way I want to be treated

Your first visit

Here's what to expect when visiting Harvest kids ministries for the first time:

First, in the parking lot you'll see signs that will direct you to the kid's ministry that fits your child's age group. There you will meet one of our team members and check your child into our system, and then one of our volunteers will lead your child to their age-appropriate room.

Upon checking in for the first time, we will ask for the following personal information (NOTE: We value your privacy and will not share this information with anyone):

  • Parent/guardian name(s)
  • Child's name
  • Child's birthdate
  • Home address
  • Phone number
  • Any special instructions (allergies, special needs) for your children

(Please bring any needed items for your child such as diapers, blankets they may desire, bottles, pacifiers, etc.)

We recommend you arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of the service to give yourself time to get your children checked in and get seated in the worship service.

Ready to visit? To create an account so that your child will be in the system for easier and quicker check-in upon arrival, fill out the form below!

How check-in works

Before Service: After finding your child’s name in the database, you and your child will be given matching name tags that are exclusive to your family and your visit. Your child will need to wear the name tag portion while you hold on to the matching tag.

After Service: After the service is complete, you will return to your child’s room and show your tag in order for your child to be released back to you.

During Service: In the event that we need to contact you during the service, your child’s identification code will appear on the screen. We ask that you exit the auditorium immediately and look for a staff member or volunteer who will direct you to your child’s room.
